Iphone Application — "FairyWoods Patisserie"

Anyone here plays "FairyWoods Patisserie"?

I downloaded and started playing this when it first came out. Basically, this game is similar to Pucca's Restaurant(link). Those who played Pucca's Restaurant should have heard of FairyWoods Patisserie since they are under the same developer — "Mobcrete".

Comparing FairyWoods Patisserie with Pucca's Restaurant, the major difference is the "Theme". You probably can guess the theme for Pucca's Restaurant by looking at the name — "PUCCA". Clear-cut! Lol. As for FairyWoods Patisserie, it's FAIRYTALES THEMED RESTAURANT GAME!♥ Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees~ :D

FairyWoods Patisserie consists of well-known Fairytales such as:

- Three Bear

- Three Little Pigs

- Alice In Wonderland

- Hansel and Gretel

- Little Mermaid

- Cinderella

- Aladdin

- Peter Pan

Another difference I noticed between the two restaurants is the Dish Mastery EXP(%) gained from cooking the dishes. In Pucca's Restaurant, I can mastered the '1 hour' dish in 1-2 days whereas in FairyWoods Patisserie, I took weeks to master the '1 hour' dish. Sometimes, I get really pissed with that. The Dish Mastery EXP(%) bar increases like a snail!! TSK! (-__-)

Well, I think this game really trains my patience in working my way up the ladder to get a 5-star restaurant. Lol. (¬_¬)

Can you spot Alice, the white rabbit and the pocket-watch from "Alice in Wonderland"?

The white rabbit is one of the "special customers"(character bonus) and just like the story of "Alice in Wonderland", it has a pocket-watch~! :P For those who played this game, did you observe the rabbit reaction when you tap it to collect the character bonus? I find it's reaction pretty cute! HAHAHA!

For the golden eggs, I have yet to unlock most of them(hidden items) because I don't want to spend money to buy the background. :x

TIP: To unlock the golden eggs for the background thingy, you have to find the "hidden items". First, you have to purchase and apply the background. Then tap everywhere in the background till you find the items. :)

Besides that, I have also yet to unlock the golden eggs of 6 Hot Drink, 6 Cold Drink, 6 Cupcake and 6 Jelly and Pudding recipes mastery.

Tip: Buy the "Magical Fridge", which costs 50 Candies, to prevent food spoilage. :)

I personally like the theme for FairyWoods Patisserie more than Pucca's Restaurant. *Awwws, MY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES~~~~~♪ * (＝ｗ＝)

Iphone Application — "Pucca's Restaurant" (Part II)

Anyone here plays "Pucca's Restaurant"? *waveeees*

I wrote about this game the other time yea? (Part I) For the main purpose of this post is about the golden eggs.

Anyway..., a short introduction? preview? of my current restaurant:

I'm using the SoHo background~ and I'm loving it! (♥_♥)

So, I know many people are wondering about "what is the item that can prevent food spoilage?"~ and we all know that in reality, refrigerator is the only appliance that helps us to keep our food fresh. Therefore, of course, some of you might already have some clues about what is it when browsing through the shop item list.

And the answer is "Yellow Refrigerator". (Purchase with 40 Garu Points!)

Initially, I thought it was either the Basic or Simple refrigerator however, I failed to unlock the egg after buying both of the fridges. Well besides refrigerators, what other items, that are available in the shop, can prevent food spoilage? I don't think there's any! *laughs nervously*

At the beginning when I started playing this game, I thought that all the hidden items can be bought using Gold coins since most of the unlocked items(such as piano, drums, Jukebox, cats, camera...) are sold in Gold coins instead of Garu points. But yea..., what-a-spoiler. (=.=) But however, I still be able to save up 40 Garu points by participating some contest held by Mobcrete. I've just won 20 Garu points not long ago by participating the "Add me thread" contest. So check their Facebook page and/or Twitter for upcoming events/contests because that's definitely an easy way to win Garu points!

*SCREEAAAAAM if you have spent all your Garu Points away* (=｀３ ′=)

By the way, you can earn some Garu points by purchasing and search the background to unlock the hidden recipes or you can purchase the Garu points from the top right corner 'coins and Garu points tabs? .aka. Garu shop'.(ermmm...for me, i think it's expensive.......)

Those who have just started playing, SAVE UP YOUR GARU POINTS for the fridge! (･x･)

UPDATE on 27 October 2012 — How to claim character bonus?

Look out for the "Megaphone" icon flashing above the character's head. Tap it to collect character bonus. 

Note: 

- The icon only appears when he finished his meal and got up to leave. 

- Customer characters visit your restaurant once in while.

As for the rest of the characters, the flashing icon are "lightbulb" and "coin". Look out for the icons~ tap them to collect character bonus. :)

Iphone Application — "Pucca's Restaurant"

I gotten flu since yesterday. Thanks to my dad who passed this virus to me. Oh my gosh, it's awful! Having flu combines with sore throat, runny and stuffy nose sure sucks to the core! But anyway, I'm feeling better after taking 6 Panadol Flu Max per day, drinking lots of water and consuming Vitamin C supplements. (*＾д＾*)

Anyway, for today's topic... I gonna share an Iphone game application that I recently got hooked on. It's called the "Pucca's Restaurant". Ever heard of it? ( ﾟ_ﾟ )ゞ Here goes a screen-shot picture of my current restaurant:

As you can tell from the picture, I'm currently level 32 and my restaurant was being graded as ★★★★☆-star. My goals are to achieve ★★★★★-star rating, unlock the hidden items and master all the recipes!(´•__^`)ﾉ

So basically, this game is all about building your own restaurant by cooking, decorating and maintaining customers satisfaction in order to get a 5-STAR rating restaurant. You get to unlock items when you reach certain levels. You can purchase the furniture, walls, floor tiles, stoves and some other decorations in the game shop using either the 'golds($)' that you have earned while running the restaurant or using 'Garu Points'.

By the way, it's a really interesting and addictive games that comes with REAL recipes! *laughs*

Oh and there's world ranking too! I'm ranked 6? in my home area/location? I think that people who live in the same area as me don't play this game that's why I gotten rank 6 easily! Lol. Somehow I don't think this ranking is accurate...(･x･)

In conclusion, this game is really fun and entertaining. It's about the same as 'Restaurant Story'(another Iphone's application). The only difference between the both of them is that 'Pucca's Restaurant' is more adorable. This is the reason why I play it in the first place~♪ By the way, I'm a fan of Pucca when I was a kid! (＾∇＾)

A bonus to this game is that it can play on the go without internet access! *thumbs-up* It also have the notification function of your foods being ready hence preventing spoilage of foods when you are not paying attention to it.
