July Favorites!

I decided to do an early July favorites because I might not have the time to do it at the end of the month. My college life is starting soon and I have so much work to prepare for the brand new semester! New school, new environment, new people, new things to learn and.........my orientation falls on 25th July. AHHH~~!, I'M NERVOUS LIKE HELL! (≥ 3 ≤) 11 days to go before I say 'sayonara'(means 'goodbye') to my vacation...（T¬T)

So...*getting back to the topic~* [...] I only have 4 favorite products this month...
1. DHC Medicated Acne Care Concealer SPF22 PA++
2. Shiseido Spotscover Foundation?/Concealer
3. Biore Hydra Clear Make Up Remover
4. Homemade/DIY Honey Tea Tree Mask
Without further ado, I will just jump straight into the points...

1. DHC Medicated Acne Care Concealer SPF22 PA++

This concealer conceals imperfections and is sweat-proof. Comes in 2 shades.
I have acne scars(referring to light scars) and this concealer works well to cover them up but the only downside is it can't completely cover dark scars. Other than that, everything is OKAY and it DOES NOT break me out~ *thumbs-up* DHC Medicated Acne Care series are for people who have acne-prone skin like me... (T_T)

2. Shiseido Spotscover Foundation?/Concealer

I first saw this in a Youtube video(Link) and I'm amazed by the coverage that it gives! It has a thick and creamy consistency and is VERY pigmented which make it a good concealer to covers up everything(blemishes)! A little dab goes a long way! However, it comes in only 2 shades — S100 and S101. I bought the lightest shade S100 but I still think that it's a little too dark. ):

By the way, my mom super love this concealer! She used this to hide her super dark freckles that she failed to cover them up using other brands concealer. After I let her try using this, she keep on borrowing it from me every single day! (=｀３ ′=) This is truly an AMAZING product!

3. Biore Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE this makeup remover! It does a great job on removing my makeup and it's water-based therefore, it does not makes me breakout. Out of all the makeup removers I've used so far, this is THE BEST! I will definitely repurchase it again and agaaaiinnnnnnn!

4. Homemade/DIY Honey Tea Tree Mask
Ingredient:
- ½-1 teaspoon of 100% natural/pure honey
- 1 drop of 100% pure Tea tree oil

Preparation and Application:
-.Mix both ingredients well.
- Apply it on affected areas or whole face for 15-20minutes and wash it off. Use 2-3 times a week.
**Tea tree oil are essential oil which generally volatile and often oxidize to lose their benefit therefore use the mask as soon as possible after preparation.
** Tea tree oil might not suit some skin types.

Honey is rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids which aids the skin. It has powerful anti-oxidants which fight free radicals and slow down aging, anti-bacterial properties & anti-inflammatory agent that heals and prevents infections and it is a valuable moisturizer for our skin. Tea Tree Oil is an excellent treatments for acne. It has strong anti-microbal, anti-septic and fungicidal properties.Combined it with honey, it helps eradicate the infections in acne affected areas.

This is the most effective mask I've ever used to kill acne! Like seriously, it works miraculously! Way cheaper, better and fastest result than those pimple gels or whatever chemicals-formulated products sold in the drugstores! Try this out if you're not allergic to tea tree oil. you will be amazed by the result!

Ishiya: Shiroi Koibito(白い恋人) cookies

Bad lighting!? HAHA~ It's getting dark, that's why......

The other day I was told by my brother that there's a Summer Hokkaido Fair going on and I tried out the chocolate cookies that he bought it at the fair. The cookies taste GREAT especially the white chocolate flavor! I went to the fair the next day just to buy 2 boxes of the cookies. *laughs nervously*

Ever heard of Ishiya: 'Shiroi Koibito(白い恋人) cookies'?↴

Even though my brother knew that Ishiya's white chocolate cookies are the most famous one, he bought the assorted box because he wanted to try out the milk chocolate flavor.

While me, I bought 2 boxes which consist of only white chocolate cookies. I prefer the white chocolate cookies more than the milk chocolate~ I got it in paper box(similar to my brother's) and in tin box.↴

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the tin! It's gorgeous! I didn't expect it to be so pretty! I didn't rip the wrapper of the paper box therefore, no photo for that. Anyway, it looks exactly the same as my brother's... Just that the color of the box cover and the printing inside are slightly different and consist of only white chocolates. Anyway, who cares about the ordinary paper box!? Let us put our focus on the white chocolate cookies!↴

A layer of white chocolate in between two thin butter cookies~ The white chocolate cookies taste very milky and it melt in your mouth. Combined it with the thin layers of butter cookies = PERFECT! The cookie itself has a light butter flavor and has a soft and crisp texture and when you bite and chew it, it turns into somewhat like powdery? kind of texture. I'm not good at describing texture...? So yea..., I might be wrong though... However honestly, the cookie taste and texture is really nice.

Just to add on..., I found it a little bit too sweet and I have to drink water after eating it. Well personally, I don't like sweet stuff but again, white chocolate is supposed to be SWEET! Thus, I can't complain too much. (｀_´)ゞ

Anyway, it's really pricey manxz! The paper box contain 24 packets cost SGD$37 while the pretty tin box contain 27 packets cost SGD$44.80. An additional SGD$7.80 was added in just for the tin box and 3 more packets of the cookies. I believe Japan sells more cheaper! LOL! (¬_¬)

Regarding to where to get these cookies in Singapore, I don't think you can find them anywhere in Singapore unless there's a Hokkaido fair. That's an assumption uh... But that is what I've heard so far...

National Day Parade (Preview)

I have been heading out almost every single day. (｀_´)ゞ Vacation is ending soon hence, I going to enjoy myself as much as possible! After the vacation = Back-to-school~ Awws, mugging life. (ㅠ_ㅠ)

Okay so... My brother was being such a kind soul to give me 2 admission tickets to the National Day Parade(NDP) 2011 Preview. So last Saturday, I went to the event together with my friend, Shelin.~ She is actually my aunt but we treat each other more like a friend than a relative. :D She is AWESOME!♥

Anyway, Shelin and I already had plans on Saturday. We decided to meet up and go to some designer bags sales and it was just so coincidence that the sales venue was near the event venue. Therefore, we decided to attend the event after our shopping since the event starts only in the evening.

Well, I'll let the photos do the talk for now.

I didn't took a lot of photos because I was busy recording.*laughs* Oh yea, I recorded the amazing fireworks! I wanna upload it here unfortunately, the internet is being a snail at the moment. Damn slow! I guess I should upload the video next time..., if there is a chance...~ (≥ 3 ≤)

June Favorites!

The month of June has ended and the month of July has just started. Sigh, my vacation is ending in about 3 weeks time. Awws~ ):

Anyway, let's get back to topic — (oh yeaaa)  June Favorites!(^ω^)

I actually wanted this post to be up before July. However, I was ill therefore I don't have the mood to update my blog. You know that the FLU is such a bitch. 凸(`з´) *oops, bad word* (｀_´)ゞ

So, I will start of with fragrance — Perfume: Lanvin Éclat D'Arpège↴

I absolutely LOVE this perfume! I wear this every time I go out and the fragrance last all day. After shower, I went to bed and woke up, the perfume scent still lingered on me. It lasts an incredible long time. I'm not good at describing scent...but I guess to me, it has a soft and light floral scent and I LOVE the beautiful fragrance!~♥ By the way, I bought it at a really cheap price...so much lesser than the initial $100+ price tag. *laughs nervously* So I will definitely re-purchase it again.

Next, make-up brushes from Ecotools...↴

These brushes are amazing! They are super soft without the irritation of too-stiff bristles or animal hair allergies and they don't shed. Good quality and CHEAP!♪ Loveeee Ecotools brushes!（＾−＾）

Moving on to...Face product: Mineral Finishing Powder from Kevin BeautyMaker. ↴

This mineral finishing powder is completely sheer and ideal for all skin tones. Fragrance, preservative, oil-free. It absorbs oil and minimizes the appearance of lines and pores. Available in 3 shades: #01 Fair, #02 Natural, #03 Tan. Both a brush and puff are included.

I bought it in #02 Natural from an online shopping site. Initially, I was afraid that the shade I chose would be quite dark because normally natural shade looks dark on me. However, it isn't as dark as what I've thought. In fact, the shade is lighter than what I've expected and it matches well with my skin color giving me a natural look. It doesn't clog my pores and make me breakout either. Awesome-ness!~☆

Next, Eyes product: Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner... ↴

I did a review on this the other time ya...? Revlon ColorStay eyeliner is an awesome pencil liner. It glides on smoothly, doesn't smudge or smear and it does last all day. Probably the best out of all the ones I have used.

Last product I gonna talk about... LIP-GLOSS! from Bourjois, Effet 3D - #20 Rose Symphonic. ↴

A glamorous and shimmery pink gloss~ At first sight it seemed too glittery and sparkly, but when I tried it on, it was perfect. Gorgeous color! This is my first Bourjois lip gloss and I really like it so far. Well, I personally don't really like flavored lip gloss but I'm fine with this Bourjois gloss. Might re-purchase it again.

So yea, that's my short and sweet June Favorites! Hope you guys like it. (^ー^)
